EL LIBRO QUE PREPARA MARCELA CUBILLOS SOBRE EL IMPACTO DE LAS REFORMAS EN EDUCACIÓN DE MICHELLE BACHELET Para mediados de mayo se prevé el lanzamiento del libro de Ediciones USS que evaluará el impacto de las reformas educaciones realizadas durante el segundo mandato de la expresidenta Michelle Bachelet.
El texto --coordinado y editado por la exministra de Educación de Sebastián Piñera y actual precandidata a la Municipalidad de Las Condes, Marcela Cubillos-abordará temas como la Nueva Educación Pública, la Ley de Inclusión, el fin de la selección, el impacto en la educación particular subvencionada, la situación de los liceos emblemáticos, la carrera docente, la libertad de enseñanza y la calidad de la educación. El libro consta de ocho artículos escritos por académicos de la U.
San Sebastián: los exfuncionarios del Mineduc José Pablo Núñez, Fernando Peña, Macarena Bravo y la misma Cubillos; los exalumnos del Instituto Nacional Julio Isamit y José Francisco Lagos; la exdecana de Educación y actual integrante del Consejo Nacional de Educación, Ana Luz Durán, y Víctor Ruiz, decano de Educación de la casa de estudios. La idea "nace de la convicción que se necesita iniciar una contrarreforma educacional.
La reforma de Bachelet 2 no ha significado mejoras en calidad; no ha solucionado los problemas que existían; y ha generado nuevos como la injusticia de erradicar la valoración del mérito para postular a liceos de excelencia, la crisis de Servicios Locales de Educación y la falta de matrícula disponible", afirma Cubillos.
